The chest light isn't working, is there a way to troubleshoot?

Absolutely! Is the chest light spinning without lighting up? Are all of the wires connected properly? We recommend unplugging everything and plugging it back in again (something could have been connected incorrectly or disconnected all together). Is your adapter plugged into the control box properly? Without pushing too hard, there should be a small click/pop that signifies the adapter being inserted all the way. If you've done all of these things and the chest light still isn't working, you can contact support@tekkytoys.com for additional support.

Can the lights for this prop be kept on?

The lights only turn on when the prop is activated. There is a volume knob on the back of the control box that can be adjusted, so if you want to use the prop without sound, that is an option. There are 3 settings for this prop; ON/OFF/FOOTPAD. Even in the ON setting, this prop in motion/sound activated, so again, it will not be on constantly.

The mouth won't move. What should I do?

If your prop is making squeaking/whirring noises, unplug the head and contact our customer service email (support@tekkytoys.com). If your prop is not making any noise, try spraying some WD-40 in the corners/around where the gears are. Sometimes condensation can get into the gear(s) of a prop, causing a squeak/whirring noise.

Important things to note:

The tethers and stakes that come with this prop are REQUIRED for the assembly of this prop. Put 4 stakes on the base (look at page 14, photo 33 in the instructions), and 3 stakes on the tethers (one on each). We also recommend not putting the base supports on the prop until it is fully assembled, along with using added weight if needed. Keep on FLAT AND SOLID surface. Bring inside during high wind.

I’m having trouble getting the clevis pin in to assemble the scythe. What should I do?

If you’re having issues getting the clevis pin through the hole, getting the pin in while screwing in the blade to try and line up the holes better.

Something is not working or moving after I plugged everything in. Is there a way to troubleshoot?

Absolutely! First, we recommend unplugging everything and plugging it back in again (something could have been connected incorrectly or disconnected all together). Make sure you plugged in everything correctly and that the wires are all matching their corresponding letters (ex. The V wire should be connected to the other V wire). Here's a guide outlining the functions of each wire:

T= Chest light

U= Human Sensor

S= Eyes/Eye Lights and Mouth Movement

If you find that one of these isn’t working, try troubleshooting and unplugging the wires each at a time to test and see what the issue is. Then you can reach out to
